Most of his movies are remakes. In 2018 Abhimanyu wrote and directed the romantic-drama, Noor Jahaan. The cast has Adrit Roy, Puja Cherry, Tulika Basu, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Rajatava Dutta in important roles. His 2019 projects include Googly and Love Story. His 2023 release includes Kirtan.
